The service is deplorable and sometimes even borderline unlawful. I have lived in this area for 5 years. When I moved to my current home, I was not told about a security deposit ($215) until the day I moved in. The woman yelled at me and hung up. I had to pay it but was lucky to have it. Since, I have been yelled at, laughed at, had my payments refused to the point of calling over 10 times, gone to Supervisors to be hollered at, abused and hung up on and I even called my Commissioner. They got to them first however, and I was ignored. Main issue-each time I go on line to pay, it won't take my account # and/or password. I call in and am hung up on, called names, etc. The Supervisor said she would look into it and never did. Worse, once I was charged 3 times my bill and it was a hot water tank issue. They actually were great. Some months ago though, I got a bill for $256 (usually in the $50-60's). I asked why and they said they read the meter. They told me what the meter read & told me to go home and re-read. If my reading was lower, they would return. it was-they never came back. I had to pay $127 and would find out the results, but they never told me or sent anything via mail or email. It is now written off, but I still paid FAR more than I should have with no reason why. If I get mad (remind you-5 years), they call me abusive and hang up. They even created a ghost Facebook account and called me out on my business Facebook page, which is slander. When I complained, nothing was done. They make my bills late, offer to take off late fees and don't do it. The staff should be wiped out and new ones should be monitored and trained to DO THEIR JOBS. It takes a lot for me to get this angry. I am a good person. I do a lot for my community and don't deserve to have them attack myself or my business. I certainly don't deserve them to rob me, as they have and probably will again.

  • The staff at the water division were so pleasant, and informative when I called to inquire about, then set up service for my new home. With so many things to handle with a new home and moving, it was definitely a relief to work with helpful, non-bureaucratic people!
